Fort Worth's Mayor Betsy Price is coming to North Hi Mount on Friday, December 15 at 9am. She will be sharing her favorite book and special vocabulary word as part of North Hi Mount's Word of the Week literacy initiative. She will be reading to our kindergarten students in the library followed by visits to some classrooms!
November's has been moved to November 9, the 2nd Thursday of the month!Join us the first Thursday of the month to purchase your spirit wear, decals and yard signs! We'll have a table setup near the entrance before school and just after the bell. We accept cash, check and credit card!
The FWISD Invention Convention is a program focusing on inventive thinking and creativity. Students are encouraged to think of a problem affecting the daily lives of themselves or others and apply problem solving skills to invent a workable solution/prototype to alleviate a need.
The students and staff are invited to participate in Red Ribbon Week today by wearing story book costumes and have a vocabulary word attached onto the costume that describes the character. The Vocabulary Storybook parade will start at 8:30 in the halls.
Today is also College Spirit Day and students can choose to wear their favorite college shirt as an alternative. Students who do not participate, must wear their uniform.
